چکیده
Abstract This study aims to determine the effectiveness of supplementation sodium (Na) alginate Sargassum sp. from Lampung waters enhance non-specific immune response and resistence Pacific white shrimp ( Litopenaeus vannamei ) against spot disease. used a completely randomized design with 3 treatments, namely feeding without (A) or control, dietary Na at dose 2.0 (B), 4.0 g kg −1 feed (C), each four replications, for 14 days. Hemolymph sampling was performed on days 0, 7 observe parameter hematology included total haemocyte count (THC), phagocytocyte activity (PA), phagocytic index (PI), plasma protein (TPP). The hepatopancreas histology profile water quality were observed end treatment. Data analyzed by Anova 95% confidence interval continued Duncan test. Result showedthat alginat significantly several THC, PA, TPP. Meanwhile, both treatment control showed not effect tissue damage. still in normal condition during results this indicate that application 2gr/kg is best shrimp.

Microbiome analyses of pacific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) collected from disparate geographical locations.
In this study, the tail muscle microbiota of pacific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) sourced from five countries across Central and South America and Southeast Asia were determined and compared. The genomic DNA was sequenced at around 10 × coverage for each geographical location and was assembled de novo for comparative analysis. The assembled sequences for all the lines were classified bas...

Bacteria capable of producing different extracellular enzymes of potential relevance in digestive processes were isolated from the stomach, hepatopancreas and intestine of Pacific white shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei. A total of 64 strains with proteolytic activity were isolated and grouped into 16 clusters based on morphological characteristics: 4 groups were isolated from the intestine; 5 from t...

Three different experiments were conducted to study the effect of dietary astaxanthin on the immune response, resistance to white spot syndrome virus (WSSV) and transcription of antioxidant enzyme genes in Pacific white shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei. Each experiment included one triplicate treatment group (fed with 80 mg/kg astaxanthin supplemented diet) and one triplicate control group (fed with...
